    Isaam has worked at Pfizer since October 2005 as a Professional Healthcare Representative. In his current role he is responsible for promoting Pfizer's pain portfolio products in and around the Milwaukee market and areas to the south. He also serves as Co-editor of the Midwest Messenger, a quarterly newsletter for Pfizer colleagues in the Midwest Region. He has worked for a non-governmental organization and with socially and economically underserved and vulnerable populations.

    As a result of his experiences, he is looking forward to fulfilling a career goal of being a Pfizer Global Health Fellow and will serve with Population Services International (PSI). The 2012-2013 PSI partnership with GHF will focus on increasing the efficiency and effectiveness with which PSI distributes family planning and maternal health products. To ensure products are available to hard to reach clients, PSI needs consistent and reliable sales and distribution systems. Fellows will assess current sales, procurement and warehousing practices and develop a toolkit to help PSI introduce enhancements which will be shared with PSI offices around the world.

    Isaam hopes to gain greater operational experience working in Ethiopia with PSI. He believes it will expand his strategic skills and analytics talents in a manner that he can share to improve the performance of his district, state and regional teams upon his return to Pfizer.
