Coley’s drug discovery and development efforts are focused on bringing our innovative product candidates to market to improve patient outcomes and address an expanding range of large, unmet medical needs.
Each candidate in our product pipeline is designed to elicit a targeted immune response to fight a specific disease or class of diseases by stimulating or blocking Toll-like Receptors (TLRs). We currently have product candidates in clinical trials that target TLR9 to treat cancer, asthma and allergies, and to enhance the effectiveness of vaccines, including cancer vaccines. We are also investigating product candidates that block TLRs 7, 8 and 9 for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
We believe our clinical-stage programs have only just begun to explore the clinical and commercial possibilities of TLR Therapeutics™. Coley is continuing to broaden and diversify its TLR Therapeutic platform through small molecules that block or stimulate TLR7/8, and RNA-based compounds that activate TLR7 and TLR8—to address an even broader range of diseases.
